The Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square Max 1 is a high-MOI, modern “zero-torque” putter designed for maximum stability and consistency on the greens. It belongs to Odyssey’s latest Square 2 Square line and is engineered to help golfers keep the putter face square throughout the stroke — reducing twisting and improving roll quality even on off-center hits.

• High MOI & Stability: The Max 1 head delivers a very high moment of inertia (MOI over 6,300 g-cm²), making the club extremely stable through the stroke and more forgiving on mishits.

• Center-Shafted, Stroke-Balanced Design: The shaft is mounted at the center of gravity (CG) of the head, giving the putter a “toe-up” balance / reverse-torque profile. This encourages the face to remain square to the putting path — helpful for golfers seeking a straight-back, straight-through stroke.

• AI-Engineered Insert (Ai-ONE): The putter face uses an “Ai-ONE” insert: a co-moulded White Hot urethane striking surface over an AI-designed aluminum backer. The insert’s contours are optimized to deliver consistent ball speed across the entire face, which improves distance control and feel even on off-center strikes. 

• Built-In Forward Press (3.3° Shaft Lean): The shaft is set with a slight forward lean (3.3°), which presets a forward-hand position at address — helping prevent the face from opening at impact and promoting solid launch and roll.

• Large Mallet-Style Head & Alignment Aids: The Max 1 features a large, forgiving head that frames the ball well at address. It uses a simple alignment sight line on top to help you square the clubface properly before striking.
